Brickner Motors, Inc., in Little
Chicago was established in 1945 by Jerome Brickner,
Sr. and was the family's first dealership. Through
their dedicated staff the business soon became known
for its outstanding service and customer satisfaction.
In 1957 Jerry, Jr. began working with his dad, and
along with his wife, Grace, 1979 Jerry Jr. purchased
the dealership. The couple's four children, Maria,
Jerry, Michael and Steve, have also learned the business.
Steve and his wife Linda work with
his parents at Brickner Motors, Inc., In Little Chicago
on the North East Side. Steve is the General Manager
at Little Chicago and Linda works in the office. Both
Steve and Linda look forward to someday passing the
family business onto their children.
Jerry Brickner, Jr. partnered with
Keane Foster in April of 1980 in what then was Grand
Central Dodge in Wausau. The store was then renamed
Brickner Chrysler Center after acquiring the Chrysler
Plymouth franchise. Keane retired in 1997 and his
hard work and dedication to Dodge and it's products
is certainly appreciated. Currently Jerry Brickner
III and his brother Michael are the dealer principal's.
But they say they couldn't do it without everyone
of the team members at the dealership. Everyone has
an important role to play.
In June 1988, Jerry Brickner Jr. and his nephew,
Jim Brickner opened the Brickners Park City Jeep Eagle
store in Merrill. The Chrysler franchise was added
in 1999. Dodge was added in January 2001, when Brickner
Park City moved into a brand new building and location.
Jim Brickner and his wife Maria manage the day-to-day
operations.
In 1993, Brickners of Antigo became the newest dealership
to carry the family's name. The former Remington Motors
was located on Hwy 45 in Antigo, and also carries
full line of Daimler Chrysler Products. Chrysler
Jeep Dodge. In 1997 a New Facility was opened on
the North East Side of Antigo on Hwy 64. The old site
is now being used as a Collision Center. Jerry Brickner
III is the dealer principal, and is proud of the dedicated
staff he has to work with.
